- Jan Stratford

Wehave lived on Hazelmere Cres for over 50 years; wehave broughtupour children here and have enjoyed amostly peaceful life at one time.

Ours and the neighbour’s children could play tennis on the road; mindyou always with the lookout for approaching cars.

Today life has got a lot busier andwith the huge increase in traffic and the school on our street, our councildeemedit necessary to place a 40km/hspeed limit on the crescent.

However, it seemswe havemanagedto breed a bunch of hoons, or inmyview idiots, that think theyknowbest andwith their highpowered cars can drive at any speed they like and it ismostly foot to the floor.

This is a recipe for adisaster andsomepoor innocentwill most likely be the victim. Weneed a camera on the street.
