Support for the chopper

Te Puke Times - - NEWS -

Trustpower TECT Rescue helicopter pilot Liam Brettkelly made a flying visit to Te Puke last week to lend his support to this month’s rescue helicopter appeal.

During May staff from Te Puke’s Westpac branch have been popping over to New World on Mondays and Wednesdays to help pack shoppers’ bags and support the month-long appeal.

New World is offering electronic donations and also has collection buckets at the supermarket, says Tracey.

New World Te Puke owner John Gray says he is always looking to contributed to the community.

“Supporting the helicopter appeal was a no-brainer so I was happy to hop on board. I know how important is it.”
