This year’s Far North District Coun­cil customer sur­vey shows it achieved the same, or higher, sat­is­fac­tion lev­els in 12 out of 22 ser­vice ar­eas than last year. Ser­vices where sat­is­fac­tion lev­els were high, or sig­nif­i­cantly higher than in 2016, in­cluded re­cy­cling and refuse trans­fer sta­tions, ceme­ter­ies, foot­paths and pub­lic li­braries and toi­lets. Ser­vices where sat­is­fac­tion lev­els were lower in­cluded build­ing and re­source con­sents, ur­ban storm wa­ter drainage, sew­er­age sys­tems and parks and re­serves. Sat­is­fac­tion with roads was also be­low av­er­age. Only 21 per cent of re­spon­dents were sat­is­fied with the road­ing net­work. Re­sults from the tele­phone sur­vey of
