A re­cy­cling com­pany says the body found in a bale of card­board at its Hamil­ton plant is not one of its work­ers. What are be­lieved to be a man’s body parts were found by staff at OJI Fi­bre So­lu­tions and Ful­lCir­cle Re­cy­cling premises, in Frank­ton, on Tues­day morn­ing. But more than a day later who he is, and how the body got there, re­mained a mys­tery. Six staff work at the small site. All were be­ing of­fered emo­tional sup­port and coun­selling. De­tec­tive In­spec­tor Hy­wel Jones said of­fi­cers were wait­ing on the au­topsy re­sults to es­tab­lish the man’s iden­tity and age. ‘‘In ad­di­tion to this ex­am­i­na­tion we have a num­ber of in­quiries un­der way seek­ing to con­firm the man’s iden­tity,’’ he said. ‘‘At this stage we are still treat­ing his death as un­ex­plained.’’
