Radradra can play
The NRL will allow Semi Radradra to play while the subject of an apprehended violence order application from his former partner, but the complaint has raised fresh fears he will not return to Australia. Perina Ting gave a video statement to police on Tuesday night, alleging she had been assaulted on a number of occasions during an eightmonth period beginning in September 2014. Radradra had been given leave to return to his native Fiji for personal reasons. Radradra was scheduled to join his Eels teammates for training yesterday but again failed to appear. Parramatta powerbrokers have extended the deadline for his return to tomorrow, which would give him time to prepare for Saturday’s clash with tabletopping Cronulla. However, those close to him are sceptical about the chances of him coming back and believe news of his relationship issues with Ting becoming public is a further disincentive for him to return.
