Williams second

Whangamata’s Ella Williams continues her recent push towards the elite women’s surf tour. Williams notched up her second strong result this month when runner-up in the Pro Anglet event in France at the weekend. The Kiwi was frustrated by a lack of good waves available in the final against Australian veteran Clair Bevilacqua, but will have moved further up the rankings on the World Surf League Qualifying Series. The previous weekend, Williams won the women’s Medoc Ocean Lacanau Pro in France.
