Ko fades on final day

-

Lydia Ko has plummeted down the leaderboard in a disappointing final day of the LPGA Tour’s Thornberry Creek Classic in Wisconsin notable for the record-breaking feats of Korea’s Sei Young Kim. The 21-year-old Kiwi teed off yesterday in a share of third on 15-under, nine shots behind the Korean, but never came to grips with things over the final round as she posted a one-over 73 to fade to a tie for 23rd. The tournament was won by Kim, who finished with a seven-under 65 to boast a record-smashing total of 257, 31-under for the tournament. It was the lowest winning score in LPGA Tour history.
