Record sales volumes for Armstrong Prestige

Armstrong Prestige on Cambridge Terrace has been the Wellington region’s go-to dealer for top luxury car brands since 2007. Dealer Principal, Paul Gibson, joined the luxury side of the business after managing Armstrong Motor Group Lower Hutt for six years.

“It was a natural transition for Paul to move into the role of Dealer Principal at that dealership”, says Rick Armstrong, Managing Director of the automotive group. “Paul has been with the group now for over eight years, previously managing our Peugeot, Citroen and Subaru dealership. Paul has always had a passion for people and has ensured his teams deliver above expectatio­ns with an understand­ing of individual customer needs - a direction he has taken with him to Armstrong Prestige. We are really lucky to have such a passionate and grounded person lead the team in the CBD”.

Armstrong Prestige is fortunate to have many long serving employees that have been dedicated to the company long term. Award-winning General Sales Manager, Jeff Dacombe has been with the business for over fifteen years and Jaguar Land Rover Sales Manager, Nigel Goldsack also celebrates fourteen years with the company this year. Michael Pointon, another long standing staff member has just moved into a role as Audi Brand Manager and Todd Hamilton-Crook has taken the reigns of high-performanc­e brand, Porsche. “Having these experience­d members amongst our team provides a stable base and friendly familiar faces for our customers” says Paul.

The dealership’s brand line-up consists of Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo. “Working with five of the world’s best automotive brands makes my job a lot easier,” says Paul. “When you are selling a product that your staff and your customers are so enthusiast­ic about, your day to day activities become really positive and enjoyable, which I think feeds into the experience at Armstrong Prestige”.
