Ar­rests after Fox­ton car­jack

Two men have been ar­rested after a car­jack­ing in Fox­ton Beach last month.

The two men car­jacked a man in his 50s on the cor­ner of Queen St and Se­abury Ave just after mid­night on Septem­ber 17.

De­tec­tive Sergeant Philip Skoglund said the stolen car was found later that day and $1500 worth of prop­erty was miss­ing from the ve­hi­cle.

Two men, aged 30 and 43, were ar­rested dur­ing the search of a prop­erty that day and charged with ag­gra­vated rob­bery.

While they were look­ing for the stolen prop­erty, po­lice also found 40 grams of metham­phetamine.

The 30-year-old man was charged with pos­ses­sion of metham­phetamine for sup­ply.

The stolen goods were not found.
