The South­land District Coun­cil launched its new brand this week, with the prom­ise that it will take lead­er­ship on the is­sues fac­ing the district. The new logo with a slo­gan of ‘‘lead­ing the way’’ was pro­duced in-house by coun­cil staff, and cost $150,000.
