FROM THE NEWS DESK
What a beautiful week we have been having in the south.
Coming from someone who is notoriously always cold, even I can say that it has been hot.
I have been making the most of the nice weather, hitting the beach, going for walks and it’s even just been a privilege to be able to open my ‘‘summer drawer’’ of clothes to be honest.
Since moving to Invercargill more than a year ago the drawer had gone virtually untouched so now I am finding all these clothes I forgot I even had.
(Please tell me I am not the only one who has done this?)
Being very fair and not used to the heat though has meant I have had to make sure I am staying hydrated and with a good slather of sunscreen on.
I made the mistake of thinking the clouds would stop the burn a few weeks ago and am definitely not keen to repeat.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer and making the most of the warm weather safely.
Bring on more sunshine, cloudless skies and radiant smiles out enjoying it all. REPORTER: Rebecca Moore, email@example.com, (03) 3 211 1033, (027) 539 3393.
