I wouldn’t say I’m especially decisive or maybe I am. I’ve yet to crystallise my thoughts on this.

Luckily there are a couple of handy decision-making tools available. There’s the time honoured eeny-meeny-miny-mo for solo decision making.

If you have a coin handy you can flip it, but if you’re lacking in decisiveness and dexterity you’re a bit stuffed on this one.

If you’ve got a batting partner though you can peel out paper, scissors, rock (PSR).

I have my reservations about this. For instance we tried a threeway PSR the other day and quite frankly it was a bit of a debacle.

And then there’s the notion that a rock can in fact crush a pair of scissors, realistically we’re talking humungous rock, tiny scissors.

Is a rock really incapacitated if you wrap it in paper?

OK, so scissors can cut paper up so that’s pretty sound.

Still I’m constantly reminded not to try and reinvent the wheel so there’s probably no need to make this more decisive.

And hand grenade, samurai sword, airborne pathogen doesn’t have the same ring to it.
