Biggest week for helicopter house
What a week.
Lots of progress this week, and so many people putting in the hard yards to keep the house going forward.
This was the biggest week of the programme so far - the exterior cladding got finished, thanks to Bob, the Greeps and the Grey Power Gang and the doors and windows went in huge thanks to Design Windows and Metro Performance Glass.
The awesome sparkies from Aotea Electrical and the amazing plumbers from Tasman Bay Plumbing completed their first fix, the insulation went in, thanks to Tasman Insulation and Russell Battman Clementson and his boys from Pinkfit, the beautiful doors from Humes doors arrived and were prehung by the great people from Brightwater Joinery, thank you James and Sandra Palmer and the team.
The council came and gave the house the big thumbs up, it has absolutely flown through every inspection.
The best of materials, put together by experienced, qualified, passionate tradesmen - someone is going to get an absolute top quality home - and passing this pre-line meant we started putting up gib board.
This was a huge effort from Bob, Tasman Homes, Garry Nott, Tommy, Andy and Fat Stu, Dave Gunther, Bob Monopoli (not the world’s oldest builder, but bloody close!), Taine, Andy and Jonesy from Total Design Build, Santosh from Living Design, and Mark Van Zoelen and his lads - and gibbing got finished this weekend.
So many people giving up their time to put this together. Please have a look at the photos! Fun times
Jonesy, Taine, and Andy from Total Design Build Motueka.
