Death accident

A magician accidentally hanged himself in his dressing room at a Hollywood nightclub, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Department says. Daryl Easton, 61, was found by employees of the Magic Castle club. The coroner who performed the autopsy yesterday ruled the death an accident, said Lieutenant David Smith. He said the finding was that the hanging was selfinflicted, though it was not ruled a suicide. Easton’s body was found fully clothed with a bag over his head, said Vicki Greenleaf, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Magical Arts, which owns the Magic Castle. She disputed as untrue media reports indicating Easton was in his underwear.
