Spin skittles A team
New Zealand A’s woes with legspin have continued as they stumbled to a six-wicket defeat against India A in the third ODI in Visakhapatnam. Legspinner Karn Sharma, who had taken 16 wickets in the two earlier four-dayers, took 5-22 as the Kiwis were bowled out for 143 in 37.1 overs. India A didn’t start their run chase convincingly, losing their first three batsmen cheaply to sit on 23-3 two balls into the eighth over. However, Shreyas Iyer steadied the ship with 37 off 36 balls then Vijay Shankar and Deepak Hooda put on an unbeaten 57-run partnership to see India home. India has a 1-0 lead in the five-match series after the first game was washed out and the second ended in a dramatic tie.
Tiger Woods’ decline should be a Netflix series.
