Man hit on road

An Australian man run over after lying down in the middle of the road has critical injuries. A car hit the 27-year-old in Lake St, Queenstown, about 1am yesterday after the driver failed to see him. The man was last night in a critical but stable condition in Dunedin Hospital. The serious crash unit is reviewing the scene. The driver was uninjured.
