Nurses deserving

-

Anyone calling nurses greedy should be ashamed of themselves. It is time these caring, selfless individuals are recognised for the work they do. Doctors cannot do what they do without highly skilled nurses yet the disparity in what they earn is immense. But not only that, it is the conditions, the long hours without breaks and expectation that they will put up with it.

When Winston Peters states there is no more money, perhaps he needs to have another look at the books and remind himself that he works for us. The increase on the table is a pittance on the back of the existing low wages and Labour Party taxes will more than account for this. We have underpaid, overworked people who have been taken for granted for too long.
