Northland COF is up and running

The Northland Age - - Local News -

The latest addition to Kaikohe’s business community, Northland COF, is up and running, having navigated the lengthy process of gaining certification.

Owner Iain Forrester said he had seen the opportunity to offer a service that he believed was needed in Kaikohe, and after a great deal of work, and with a final push by local MP Matt King, the vision had become a reality.

He had appointed Richard Craig as manager, with Dick Cassidy and Noel Cooper as heavy vehicle inspectors, and Sheryl Eyre as officer administer, which he described as an experienced team that he is happy to have on board.

“It makes strategic business sense to open in Kaikohe,” Mr Forrester said.

“I feel Kaikohe gets a bit of a bad rap at times, and I don’t see why. And it’s a positive for the business community.”
