Dear landlord

The Northland Age - - Opinion -

Calling all landlords, private or otherwise, like council, New Zealand Housing, Ray White and Harcourts.

Did you know it’s against the law to charge a person four weeks’ bond, but you can charge four weeks’ rent? I was told this recently by a higher source.

I for one will not be paying four weeks’ bond, so read up on it, or get it from the Tenancy Tribunal. O BISHOP

Kaitaia notable offender, with her tantrums and smashing her racquets, in striking contrast with her lovely, well-mannered elder sister Venus. Also Nick Kyrgios.

Fining them doesn’t seem to work; they have too much money. Perhaps a warning, three strikes, yellow or red card should be considered. Certainly there needs to be some sort of firm control and discipline for these players. TIM GLASSON
