Students: grant application closing soon

The Photographer's Mail - - News -

Photography is an exceptional medium to evoke change that may make the community, and even the world, a better place to be. The Alexia Foundation offers grants and scholarship opportunities to encourage developing photographers, and Student Grant applications are open until March 3.

To apply for a grant or scholarship from the Alexia Foundation, students must submit a 25-word synopsis of the project that they have in mind or are currently working on; a proposal that outlines a still or motion project communicating the idea of world peace or cultural understanding; and, finally, a resume. Up to 20 photographs are required to show your ability in capturing your intended project.

If you’ve got a project in mind that you’ve been working on, or have been intending to work on, head to alexiafounda to read all the conditions of entry.
