Broncolor Siros Monolight

Broncolor describes the Siros range of monolights as ‘pure innovation’ — and, in bringing their flash units into the 21st century, it does so for good reason. Bringing studio lighting into the digital arena, the Siros models offer Wi-Fi control with iPhone and iPad through Broncolor’s specially developed light control iOS app, ‘BronControl’, with an Android alternative soon to be released. The app allows users to control the power output and other settings, without having to use the manual controls on the back of flash units.

Enclosed in a robust housing, the range is available within the standard 400 joules, and the ‘S’ variant that packs a punch with a massive 800 joules of power. Both options feature a control range of up to nine f-stops and just two joules of power, allowing photographers a near-unrestricted choice of aperture and unlimited creative opportunities.

The ECTC technology from Broncolor’s high-end Scoro and Move power packs are again utilized within the Siros, guaranteeing flash durations from just 1/13,000th of a second, and consistent colour across the flash curve. Plus, with ultra-fast flash durations and short charging times, the Siros range is both a powerful and universal in-studio option.
