The Auckland Festival of Photography is in full swing now, with a huge variety of pop-up exhibitions taking over the majority of Auckland’s galleries. From Matakana to Papakura, there’s something to see no matter where you’re situated.

Exhibitors come from as far afield as the US, India, Singapore, China, and Australia, and include a huge number of local photographers, while works are exhibited in major galleries, project spaces, non-gallery venues, and at various public sites. There’s also a mix of well-established photographers and emerging artists featuring their creations, which always makes for a great level of diversity.

Throughout the festival, there has been a series of inspiring presentations from renowned photographers and professionals in the industry. While many of these Talking Culture presentations have been and gone, there is still one talk left: Fiona Pardington and Neil Pardington will discuss Fiona’s exhibition A Beautiful Hesitation on June 19 at the Auckland Art Gallery Auditorium at 1pm.
