LUXE TO LESS
There’s something undeniably comforting about wrapping yourself in a soft, chic top, so we’re delighted to see wrap tops back in style this season.
Giving a big nod to ballet style and also to one of the better fashion fads of the 80s, wrap tops have gently re-wrapped themselves around the fashion world’s heart for 2017 – and for good reason, as the right one can be both flattering and feminine.
While many are cut to a slight crop (which doesn’t necessarily mean you have to flash flesh, as the trend also works with a cami or white tee underneath) or designed to fit your form, there are equal numbers with longer lines and softer, slouchier forms.
The relaxed, cardigan style from Scandinavian brand Gestuz is an effortless way to add a little luxe to your look, while Lonely has gone with a pointelle finish and a dark gold hue shot with metallic sparkle.
RUBY has paired theirs with another big trend – fluted sleeves – or for a pretty and more literal take on the classic ballerina top, we’re loving Cotton On’s version.
