Cufflinks mark restart
Men’s fashion retailer 3 Wise Men is celebrating its reopening in Christchurch as part of the city’s Re:start initiative with the launch of a special limited edition set of cufflinks for customers. The chromium plated cufflinks (worth $60) feature the Christchurch Coat of Arms and will be given away free to the first 500 customers who spend $120 or more in store over the coming weeks until stocks run out.
Robyn Mathieson is embracing the web, adding a virtual store to her bricks and mortar stores in Auckland and Wellington (robynmathieson.com). She’s also joining the charge to Facebook with a dedicated Robyn Mathieson Design page. The new e-boutique features her Spring Summer 2011 collection, Don’t Rock The Boat, inspired by the television series The Love Boat, as well as shoes by United Nude and Dco.
Anyone for tennis?:
Standard Issue has launched its summer collection showing lots of melon, sapphire and soft neutrals. The Anyone for tennis? range
(a nod to George Bernard Shaw) combines knit textures and colours, high hemlines and textured patterns. The summer knits are crafted from dry cotton yarn and feel crisp and cool against the skin. There’s also a new version of the sell-out highwaisted knitted bikini. Available on line at standardissue.co.nz
