Chocolate for charity
The foil wrappers ripped off in haste to get to the chocolate within are about to hit the runway and all for a good cause. As part of the Dunedin Cadbury Chocolate Carnival, wearable art made with Cadbury foils will take centre stage on July 23 to raise funds for Te Whare Pounamu Dunedin Women’s Refuge. The open category for individuals and families and the fashion student category will be judged by a panel that includes Margi Robertson from Nom*D, while the public can vote in the People’s Choice award on the Cadbury New Zealand Facebook page after entries close on July 12.
Snug as a bug
A new range of New Zealand-made booties and blankets by Gorgeous Creatures is keeping babies snuggled up from top to toe. Made from calfskin and lined with fluffy lambskin, the natural-looking booties are available in sizes to fit 3 months to 27 months and are available in white with black, tan or chocolate.
As for wrapping those precious wee bundles, the possum/merino/silk mix blanket is gentle, super-soft and regulates temperature for baby’s yearround comfort.
