Disgusted by Joe Bennett

The Press - - Perspective -

I am deeply troubled by Joe Bennett’s column (Feb 15) about his hatred and loathing for President Trump. Bennett preaches kindness, honesty, moral values and even uses phrases from the Bible yet displays the exact opposite. He also errs when writing that Trump got 48 million votes instead of 62m.

His display of hatred and insults for a fellow human being show the hypocrisy and attitudes of a politically correct Left society gone mad.

I along with millions love Trump’s political ideals and policies. His rise to power is nothing short on incredible and hopefully he can help eliminate those who express hypocritical hatred and the silencing of those who support different opinions.

I can’t recall an article based on such hatred for another human being and feel disgusted that Bennett got this platform to denigrate my beliefs and values. Bruce Carlaw Timaru
