Cracroft thanks

On behalf of the residents of Cracroft, we wish to give a big thank you to the people brought this disastrous fire under control – the firefighters, helicopter pilots, police, Civil Defence, army, St John, Red Cross, the people who made the fire breaks, the volunteers and all the rest.

Our thoughts are with the family of Steve Askin, the pilot who lost his life trying to control the fires.

Our thoughts are also with the people who have lost their homes and those with damaged properties.
