Lesson in theatre plan

The proposal for rebuilding the Court Theatre (July 28) ticks all the boxes. An affordable staged development, a (largely) timber building, fit for purpose, looking to the future. May the same path be allowed for the cathedral. Alan Robb Rangiora

Scrap dud laws

Unjust laws deserve to be flouted. That’s how they get thrown out. I seriously doubt that anyone on a benefit declares all their other sources of income if they need to provide for their families. When National reduced benefits drastically in the 90s they basically declared war on the poorest in society. Metiria Turei has made a stand against injustice and has just got my vote.
