City with a vibrant heart

The Press - - Advertising Feature - Lianne Dalziel

This year, I write not only as the Mayor of Christchurch, but also as the chair of the Canterbury Mayoral Forum, so I am very much a champion of both the city and the region.

The Champion Canterbury Business Awards recognise and celebrate the excellence, innovation, and success of businesses and notfor-profit organisations in the Canterbury region.

Canterbury is a regional powerhouse with a vibrant city heart. Our pioneering mindset, as evidenced by the finalists in the awards, is part of who we are. We have a collective identity like no other region. As a city and as a region, we aspire to be not only the best place to start and grow a family, but also the best place for businesses to start and grow so that they can then take on the world.

On behalf of the city of Christchurch and the Mayors of the region, congratulations to all entrants, finalists and winners of the Champion Canterbury Business Awards 2017.

Your success is our success. Lianne Dalziel is the mayor of Christchurch ❚
