Labour chief of staff takes left-wing lobby job

For­mer Labour chief of staff Neale Jones has taken a job with a left-wing lobby group, fol­low­ing the change of gov­ern­ment. Hawker Brit­ton has been op­er­at­ing in Aus­tralia for more than 20 years and had an of­fice in New Zealand dur­ing the time of He­len Clark’s Labour Gov­ern­ment. It has now re­turned to lobby the nee Labour Gov­ern­ment. Jones was chief of staff to Jacinda Ardern and for­mer Labour leader An­drew Lit­tle. He was also part of Labour’s coali­tion ne­go­ti­a­tion team.
