A bad dream

-

Fifty years ago I was being told that in the future we would pay to consume water from plastic bottles rather than drink tap water. People would not say gidday as they walked past, because they would be engrossed looking at machines that they held in their hands. Even more unbelievable, there would be scooters for hire but they would be for grown-ups and not children.

Then I woke up and realised that I had been dreaming, and it was just a nightmare.
