Brexit fallacies

If nothing else, Brexit has shown the fallacies in classic capitalism.When Adam Smith wrote the Wealth of Nations, Britain had a monopoly in coffee and sugar, and could pick and choose (at her whim) who to trade with in Europe.

Today’s global trading entities aren’t seeking competition, they are after the same sort of onesided monopoly Britain enjoyed in the 18th and 19th centuries.
