Show postponed

The Marlon Williams show at Neudorf Vineyard in Upper Moutere has been postponed until February 12. Promoter Eccles Entertainment said in a statement it called off the show ‘‘due to the ongoing fire risk and smoke coverage in the Tasman region’’. Both Eccles Entertainment and Williams ‘‘wish to express compassion towards all those affected in the region’’. People unable to attend the new show can have a full refund processed at the appropriate point of purchase. Neudorf Vineyard is located 38 kilometres from Nelson’s city centre, and roughly 30km from Pigeon Valley, where residents are currently being evacuated. Williams kicked off his nationwide Tu¯ rangawaewae tour in Greymouth last night. Tickets to the remaining shows can be purchased from his website.
