Bracewell guilty

-

New Zealand Cricket says it is disappointed by Black Caps paceman Doug Bracewell’s actions in drink-driving. The Hawke’s Bay-based all-rounder appeared in Hastings District Court yesterday and admitted a charge of driving on a Hastings road with a breath alcohol level of 783 micrograms per litre of breath. The legal limit is 250mcg. Bracewell, 26, was charged under provisions for offenders who have two or more previous drinkdrive convictions and it is understood the latest charge is his third. In a statement released through his lawyer, Bracewell said he "stuffed up and made an extremely bad call to drive home from a function because of a personal and urgent issue that arose at home".
