Bull rider on mend
An Australian bull rider injured at the College National Finals Rodeo is able to sit in a chair and even take some steps as he recovers in a Wyoming hospital. Bradie Gray remained in the intensive care unit yesterday at the Wyoming Medical Centre in Casper but a hospital spokeswoman says his condition is improving. Gray was critically injured on June 15 when the bull stepped on his sternum after bucking him off. He suffered broken ribs, collapsed lungs and a tear in his aorta.
