Police warn of burglaries

-

Invercargill police are reminding the public to secure their properties, including farm buildings, fuel tanks and vehicles at night or when left unattended. There has been a spate of burglaries and motor vehicles that have been broken into during the past two weeks in the Invercargill area. ‘‘If you’re away for any length of time, let your neighbours know so they can keep an eye on your property. Record serial numbers of tools and valuable items, or mark these with an identifier so they can be traced to your property.’’ Police ask the public to report any suspicious activity they see.
