Re:Start retailers moving

Christchurch’s Re:Start Mall businesses are preparing to shift to make way for a $100 million retail precinct development. Work is underway to relocate parts of the Cashel St container mall opposite Ballantynes to a new home near the Bridge of Remembrance. The 20 affected retailers will close their doors at the end of trading on Monday, June 2, and will reopen on Friday, June 13. The move will allow Nick Hunt’s Cashel Square development, on the former Shades Arcade and Whitcoulls sites, to get under way.
