Strong squad

Yachting New Zealand have named all but one of the group who competed at the Rio Olympics last year in their 2017 team. The now-retired Polly Powrie, one half of the silver medal-winning women’s 470 alongside Jo Aleh, is the only name from the 12 who competed in Rio not to feature in the high performance squad. The New Zealand team won four medals at Rio.
