A Christmas village has raised almost $1000 so far at a Temuka rest home. Nurse manager Raewyn Mehrtens set up a Christmas village at Wallingford Home in December, to raise money for children in the community. On Friday she said the village was still set up and would be open until mid-January. The display, including model Christmas homes, trains and fairground attractions, is open to the public every day from 6pm to 9pm. For a donation vistors can see the magical village.
