Givealittle for Greg Sutherland at $23,500

The fundraising page for Timaru man Greg Sutherland, seriously injured in a fall on Stewart Island last Friday, had reached $23,505 as of yesterday afternoon. Sutherland, 51, was on a hunting trip with friends and family when he fell three metres down a bank, landing in a bush where he suffered an injury to his head, next to his right eye. Sutherland, a former police sergeant who served in the Mackenzie Country and Timaru, remains in a stable condition in Dunedin Hospital’s intensive care unit.
