Fenz callouts

Fire crews were called to a small vegetation fire in a plantation on Limestone Valley Rd at 5pm on Tuesday. A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson said the fire was ‘‘pretty much extinguished’’ on arrivaled, but they stayed "just to keep an eye on things for the next hour". Fenz was also called to a car fire on Hilton Highway at 6.30am yesterday. A Fenz spokesperson said the fire was out on arrival and is not being treated as suspicious.
