Clients’ interests are put first

The Tribune (NZ) - - TERRACE END -

Broadway Accounting Solutions – it used to be MR Curd Ltd, but the name change has not altered the firm’s client focus, and the recent addition of Kim Hannam to the team has been seamless.

There are many options to reduce the time and complexity of managing your business, or assisting with your personal tax obligations.

The firm can cover all the accounting needs and business services of any sized business ranging from end of year accounts and taxation requirements to providing administration functions for a growing business.

For a number of clients Broadway Accounting Solutions also handles debtor preparation and collections as well as calculating payroll and PAYE requirements, budget/projections and the like.

Business development and regular coaching meetings are also offered. The continual growth of accounting systems are also covered with Broadway Accounting Solutions Limited providing, for example, a complete Xero package with services including setting up, training, problem solving and day-to-day operating.

Broadway Accounting Solutions Ltd has a team of eight and Mike Curd and Stuart Earle say this enables them to provide a personal level of contact with each and every client. One of their main aims is to ensure the client’s needs always come first, and they will not try to talk you into something if it isn’t in your best interests.

‘‘We have clients in just about every industry in New Zealand and they range from sole traders to large companies. We like to be proactive and we enjoy meeting our clients in their working environment on a regular basis as this allows us to see what is happening and raise any questions and make observations before they become problems,’’ Stuart says.

The team at Broadway Accounting Solutions Ltd has a genuine interest in their clients’ welfare.

‘‘With every client we are looking at going the extra mile and this adds to the enjoyment factor. We aim to have long- term relationships with our clients and work together with them to achieve success.’’

Some clients have been with Broadway Accounting Solutions Ltd and its predecessors for 60 years, a testament to the firm’s professionalism. Mike says one of the things he finds most satisfying is being able to demystify accounting and put it into simple English – this has resulted in many referrals from existing clients and other business contacts.

‘‘We want to lighten the burden for them and do as much as we can to help them so they can focus on what they do best.

‘‘We offer a quality service at a competitive price and we aim to keep our costs down to ensure our clients receive value for money.

‘‘We don’t charge for a phone call or email if they want some advice; we would prefer to hear from our client sooner rather than later,’’ Mike says.
