Farewell to the Iroquois
Paraparaumu author Paul Harrison will be at Linton Camp tomorrow to present an illustrated talk on the history of 3 Squadron and its aircraft based on his book Seek and Destroy, the Iroquois Years 1966 – 2015.
Linton Museum curator Howard Chamberlain hopes to see a good turnout for this talk about the Bell UH1H Iroquois. Until its official retirement earlier this year, the venerable warhorse helo was a mainstay of Defence Force operations for almost 50 years.
The presentation is in the Linton Camp Regional Support Lecture Room – the first building on right after entering Linton Camp and starts at 12.05pm. Open to all, entry is $2
