The last leg of the school holidays is under way.

For parents unable to coincide their own holidays with their children’s, getting through these holiday breaks can be challenging.

But you do have a champion. To the rescue with a phenomenal range of free activities as they do every holidays, rides our own City Library.

The programme for these opening two weeks of Hongongoi or July sees around 20 different sessions spread between the central and branch libraries for younger children, as well as separate activities for secondaryaged teens, others aimed at wider family and whanau, while still catering for specific interest groups.

Hats off to our City Library staff who put so much effort, creativity and passion into this comprehensive fortnight-long festival for our younger citizens.

City Library rocks!
