Kids For Kids is returning to Palmerston North.
A unique opportunity for children to participate in an inspirational mass choir performance, the organisers of World Vision’s Kids For Kids anticipate up to 750 youngsters will take part in the Palmerston North event this Monday, August 3 at Arena 2.
They’re bringing a brand new Kiwiana themed Kids For Kids show entitled Slice of Heaven. Packed with 100 per cent New Zealand music, there’ll be faves such as Dave Dobbyn’s Slice of Heaven, I See Red by Split Enz, I’ll Say Goodbye from The Exponents and OMC’s How Bizarre among the compilation of catchy Kiwi choruses.
Kids For Kids is hosted by two major artists, Jackie Clarke and former Zed frontman, Nathan King. Jackie has enjoyed an illustrious career on stage and screen, performing with The Lady Killers and guesting with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, the Auckland Philharmonia and Wellington Vector Orchestras. She’s appeared with Dave Dobbyn, Annie Crummer, Tina Cross among many more.
A gifted and passionate songwriter, Nathan has enjoyed multi-platinum success with his band, Zed, while touring alongside big name acts RobbieWilliams, Coldplay, The Calling, Ash and Seal.
Kids For Kids not only celebrates musical achievements but also encourages young people, their whanau and school communities to make a difference in the lives of children around the globe through World Vision.
