Kids For Kids is re­turn­ing to Palmer­ston North.

A unique op­por­tu­nity for chil­dren to par­tic­i­pate in an in­spi­ra­tional mass choir per­for­mance, the or­gan­is­ers of World Vi­sion’s Kids For Kids an­tic­i­pate up to 750 young­sters will take part in the Palmer­ston North event this Mon­day, Au­gust 3 at Arena 2.

They’re bring­ing a brand new Ki­wiana themed Kids For Kids show en­ti­tled Slice of Heaven. Packed with 100 per cent New Zealand mu­sic, there’ll be faves such as Dave Dob­byn’s Slice of Heaven, I See Red by Split Enz, I’ll Say Good­bye from The Ex­po­nents and OMC’s How Bizarre among the com­pi­la­tion of catchy Kiwi cho­ruses.

Kids For Kids is hosted by two ma­jor artists, Jackie Clarke and for­mer Zed front­man, Nathan King. Jackie has en­joyed an il­lus­tri­ous ca­reer on stage and screen, per­form­ing with The Lady Killers and guest­ing with the New Zealand Sym­phony Or­ches­tra, the Auck­land Phil­har­mo­nia and Welling­ton Vec­tor Or­ches­tras. She’s ap­peared with Dave Dob­byn, An­nie Crum­mer, Tina Cross among many more.

A gifted and pas­sion­ate song­writer, Nathan has en­joyed multi-plat­inum suc­cess with his band, Zed, while tour­ing along­side big name acts RobbieWil­liams, Cold­play, The Call­ing, Ash and Seal.

Kids For Kids not only cel­e­brates mu­si­cal achieve­ments but also en­cour­ages young peo­ple, their whanau and school com­mu­ni­ties to make a dif­fer­ence in the lives of chil­dren around the globe through World Vi­sion.
