She is very family orientated and is married with two adult children.
She is a Registered Legal Executive and Justice of the Peace.

Necia can work with you through each step of buying or selling a property and help you to understand the procedure.
No question is a silly question and, while purchasing or selling a property is one of the biggest decisions we make, Necia can help to ensure it is the smoothest, simplest and most efficient transaction for you. Necia can also assist with your Kiwisaver withdrawals and Housing New Zealand grants.
Terrace End Law is pleased to welcome back Mary Spillane, who has been at Terrace End Law for five of the last six years.
Mary’s principal area of practice is relationship property.
Mary’s client-focused approach acknowledges the pressures and uncertainties that are faced by her clients after a relationship breakdown.
She is dedicated to ensuring each client has a full understanding of their legal rights and options so they are empowered to make the right decisions.
Mary is dedicated to achieving timely, costeffective solutions by giving sound, resultsfocused advice and by providing robust representation to her clients.
She says that a major concern for any client dealing with a relationship property dispute is the amount of capital they will walk away with when settlement is achieved.
Mary also understands how important it is that legal costs do not deplete the capital that clients will need to move on with their lives, and Mary says that this issue is part and parcel of providing a transparent service with responsive communication at every juncture.
In the community there are many dangerous misconceptions about the law of relationship property.
It is a complicated area of law, and all sorts of difficulties can arise if people rely on commonly held beliefs.
This is one reason why it is vitally important that people seek legal advice at the earliest opportunity.
Another important aspect for Mary’s clients is planning for the future and Mary is able to provide prudent and knowledgeable advice on planning ahead with the use of wills, contracting-out agreements and trusts.
