The New Zealand Government is being completely irresponsible for even considering taking Syrian or any other refugees.

We have many families in New Zealand living well below the poverty line who our government seems unwilling or unable to help, and now they want to burden our society further with these immigrants from Syria.

I say immigrant, and not refugee, as most of the problems these people are running from are of their own creation.

What country will have to take refugees fleeing poverty in New Zealand – any takers out there?

How about we put Kiwi’s first for once and have our government give our own destitute a better quality of life.

I happened to take some items in to the Salvation Army one recent Monday morning, and could not believe the mess that those poor workers have to clean up after every weekend.

The SalvationArmy has apparently asked the council to help – to no avail, so they have to dump huge truck-loads, which they have to pay for. This is so unfair. Come on PNCC, please help them out.

They do a wonderful job for the community and deserve help. Christine Bell,

There is mounting pressure from the pharmaceutical industry through medical practitioners and Governments to vaccinate children and adults for numerous conditions.

Apparently there are close to 300 new vaccinations in the pipeline to be released. Its been admitted by the pro-vaccine camp that the vaccines may not prevent the conditions they are meant to prevent, while in some cases, sideeffects caused by vaccinations are far worst than what they are supposed to treat.

Recently a whistle-blower from the industry exposed the reasons why pharmaceutical [companies] are pushing for mandatory vaccinations. Brandy Vaughan, a former sales rep for Merck & Co – a vaccine maker – details how vaccine companies are using vaccines as a vehicle for massive profit and not public health. Brandy researched the safety of vaccines and found that not only do vaccines contain known toxins that can cause neurological damage, but that vaccine makers do not create the same safety studies for vaccines as they do for other drugs. This lack of true safety research of vaccines combined with the known adverse reactions to vaccination has helped Brandy to decide to never vaccinate her own child. Brandy says giving children a vaccine is like playing Russian roulette with our children and that mandatory vaccination is simply a way for vaccine makers to profit off of our children.Don’t be fooled: we do not need mandatory vaccinations in NZ.
