Neigh­bourly on pre Guy Fawkes fire­works: ‘‘Drivesme nuts, sets all the dogs off bark­ing around the neigh­bour­hood and ter­ri­fies the cats. Some­one in our area seems to set them off at least once a fort­night; I thought it was only al­lowed within so many weeks of Guy Fawkes – but ob­vi­ously not. I know there are spe­cial oc­ca­sions when these are let off, such as New Years, but there doesn’t ap­pear to be any oc­ca­sion other then ‘we’ve got them, let’s use them’.’’ – Andie Molony, Awa­puni
