There’s ev­ery­thing from The Mup­pets as a school hol­i­day treat at The Globe to The Glen Miller Or­ches­tra on Oc­to­ber 10 at the Re­gent.

The Massey Univer­sity Drama So­ci­ety presents four per­for­mances of

We Made This – a fes­ti­val of new plays writ­ten and di­rected by their mem­bers from Oc­to­ber 1 to 3.

USA blues gui­tarist Chris Cain re­turns to the Globe on Oc­to­ber 10 and Don McGlashan, ex Blam Blam Blam, The Front Lawn and The Mut­ton Birds, brings his solo evening of songs – old and new – to Globe 1 on Oc­to­ber 15.

The Re­gent on Broad­way Oc­to­ber pro­gramme in­cludes The Hopt to It! com­edy show on Fri­day Oc­to­ber 2 fea­tur­ing co­me­di­ans Nick Rado, Urzila Carlson and Steve Wrigley and The Vi­enna Pi­ano Trio on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 19.

The fi­nal Con­cert at the Na­tional Young Per­former Awards is on Sun­day Oc­to­ber 18 from 7.30pm with 130 com­peti­tors from all over the coun­try per­form­ing.

The pop­u­lar Clefs re­turn to the Feild­ing Civic Cen­tre on Satur­day Oc­to­ber 10 from 7pm. They have se­lected 40 great songs from their first con­cert in 2007 to last year’s ca­pac­ity at­ten­dance.
