How I agree with Al Win­der (Con­ver­sa­tions Septem­ber 16) [re Syr­ian ‘mi­gra­tion’]. As these peo­ple are Mus­lims, why don’t they go to a Mus­lim coun­try?

As a Chris­tian, I would never dream of go­ing to their coun­try.

The an­swer is clear; we are a soft touch, and I can fore­tell the fu­ture – a rise in| taxes to pay for them.
